In Harmony was my Senior Capstone Project, with a team of other 30 people. I worked as a Designer.
In Harmony is a puzzle game with simple controls. The two focuses of the game are musical-themed mechanics, and a gripping story between a mother and her son. The goal of the game was to be simple enough that non-gamers could enjoy and complete it, so there is no rhythm-based gameplay.
My main job as a designer was to work on the gameplay mechanics and design levels. I did not have much input on the story, but I helped with combining story elements and the tutorialization of mechanics. I was the Document Manager for the design team, meaning that I went through all the documentation made for puzzles and mechanics, and made sure everything was clear and consistent.
I also helped the art team quite a bit. I was the main animation importer. I made the animators for all the characters within Unity, and timed out the animations for the Mother, the Son, and the Enemies. This include both the active characters in puzzles, and the NPC versions of the characters found in intermission rooms.
As with most of my school projects, I created the Trailer and Sizzle Reel for this game!
