Jamison Parks
Hello there! My name is Jamison Parks, and I am a Video Game Designer, currently studying at Bradley University. I was named Bradley's 2023 "Freshman Game Designer of the Year" after my game Train Trials was a big hit at Bradley's game expo!
I have an Associate of Arts Degree from when I took college and high school classes concurrently. I then graduated a year early in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Game Design.
I came to Bradley in fall of 2022, and my class "Intro to Game Development" tasked each student with making a 2D sidescroller. My game Taxing Train Trials was well-received to the point that I was allowed to continue improving it with a team of Freshmen for Bradley's FUSE event. I got several artists, programmers, game designers, and a composer, and together we made Train Trials for FUSE 2023!
In my second year, I worked on the game Jampocalypse for the class "Game Production I", which is a rhythm game. I also was made the team lead for a FUSE project, where we came up with the game Craftway Racers! During my second semester of the year, I took two game design classes at once. Due to this, I am made eight prototypes during that semester. This is alongside working on Craftway Racers as a producer.
During my third year at Bradley, I was put in the producer position again. My team of juniors created ORBIT, a card-based puzzle game. The game is over half an hour long, and quite polished. At the same time, I started working on my Senior Capstone project, In Harmony. This bittersweet story game features tricky puzzles, many of which were penned by me. The game had a team of 30 seniors, so I learned about communication working on it.
I am currently accepted into the Masters Game Development Program at Bradley University, where I will work on another project over a full year. However, they encourage us to find a job over staying in the program, so I am on the hunt for good offers!
